The October 2017 Eyecare Plus Business Bootcamp and Annual General Meeting was nothing like what you expect a business meeting would be! Held at the beautiful sun-drenched Coogee Beach, the assembly brought together about 80 Eyecare Plus members from all over the country for this one and a half day event.
That evening, tranquil waters and green spaces, along with lovely people from the optics industry witnessed the awarding of exemplary practices that raised the banner in ensuring that the highest standards of quality optometric care and services were met.
We Made It!
Eyecare Plus Kareela is a proud finalist of the Highest Accreditation Award! Philip Rose, Eyecare Plus National Business Development Manager, states, “This award looks at—primarily—patient care, cleanliness and efficiency in the practice, as well as the general service to our patients and customers. Being in the top five finalists is a truly remarkable thing to achieve.”
Dr Alex Du, Optometrist at Eyecare Plus Kareela, states, “We’re honoured to be given this award. It’s nice to know that the individualised care and quality of service we strive to provide our patients every day has been recognised by Eyecare Plus.”
When asked what they did to achieve such standing, Greg Sexty, Practice Manager and Optical Dispenser, states, “We strive to achieve the best possible fit and comfort for all patients.
All lens choices are independently decided upon for each patient. Daily we strive not to be of success but rather of value, and that’s what our patients must have seen in our services.”
The awards night also acknowledged other Eyecare Plus practices’ excellence in various categories, including Eyecare Plus Broadway, who was a finalist for Highest Year-on-Year Practice Growth nationwide.
