Last year, blinded by excitement or by something else, Santa failed to notice a wind turbine and this happened:
This year—never again! Santa made sure he has excellent vision by getting his eyes tested.
Because Santa loves villages, he headed to Kareela Village and visited our practice, Eyecare Plus Kareela!
Of course, we got so thrilled and welcomed Santa and gave him a comprehensive eye test. His Lovely Elf Lady assistant also got her eyes tested.
Our optometrist’s consultation revealed that Santa had normal vision changes that come with aging and his overall eye health is fine. He just needs new prescription lenses to see better!
So we fitted Santa with a new pair of spectacles that complimented his rosy cheeks and fluffy white beard. Finally, Santa’s vision is excellent. He can see near (so you better be on the “Nice” list!) as well as far. No more getting entangled on wind turbines, hohoho!
And another great thing, since it’s still not yet 31 December, Santa was able to use his optical extras! This means he didn’t have to pay out of pocket for a new lens upgrade!
Santa was so happy and invited us to visit his magical cottage which was actually just a few minutes away by sleigh ride. He also called his friends to share the importance of “road and sky safety” and making sure their vision is excellent.
Which prompted his friend Mr. Giant Elf to get an eye test as well.
