Book Your Child’s Eye Test before the School Holidays End!

We hope you found some time to relax and unwind during the school holidays.

With the new school term only around the corner, we want to remind you that healthy vision and success in learning go hand in hand:

80 percent of classroom learning is visual, so it is extremely important that children's eyes are tested prior to them returning to school.

A lot of parents don’t realise that even if kids have ‘20/20 vision’, they may still have problems with their eyes.

Most kids with undiagnosed vision problems have learned to live with it or use one good eye to compensate for the other affected eye.

School-age kids with undetected vision problems may fail to progress at school and could even exhibit reading or learning disabilities.

Often, we only seek help when we notice problems. Unfortunately, many eye conditions start without noticeable symptoms. When we rely on the occurrence of obvious symptoms before visiting our optometrist, this exposes our child to unnecessary risk.
