TIME IS RUNNING OUT!

Did you know unclaimed optical health fund benefits don’t roll over into the next financial year?

We understand

the coronavirus concern!

It’s true, our optometrist is a germaphobe! :)

Okay, that was a joke but in all honesty, our optometrists and dispensers understand the concerns and fears in our community regarding the coronavirus.

We want to ensure you that our patients' wellbeing and safety is important to us, and we are doing everything we can to keep you safe.

This is why we’re making sure our practice is a clean and hygienic place for your eye care needs.

We disinfect equipment between patients with alcohol based products and disinfectants effective against viruses

We encourage the use of hand sanitisers before and after the appointment as well as trying on frames and sunglasses

We are following Optometry Australia protocols for dealing with coronavirus

If you have travelled to higher risk countries in the last 2 weeks, we urge you to wait before coming in for an eye test unless it is an urgent matter

Most importantly we want to keep our local community safe - if our team members feel unwell, they have been asked to remain at home.

Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.

Please advise our staff if you have recently travelled overseas in the last 14 days. Our staff will advise you according to the latest recommendations by health.gov.au

So if you’re due for an eye test or need to replace your spectacles, by all means please drop by. Rest assured, we are being very cautious for everyone’s sake.

You are most welcome to contact our practices if you have any concerns.

You can help prevent the spread of Coronavirus by implementing the below measures:

Cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues and use alcohol based hand sanitiser.

If you feel unwell, avoid contact with others (more than 1.5 metres from people) or stay at home.

We encourage that if you have any symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath) and/or have recently travelled overseas in the last 14 days, to reschedule your appointment with us for another time.

In addition to all the above, our practice will provide facemasks to at-risk patients who require them. Facemasks will soon be available for purchase for patients who would like one during their eye test (max quantities apply). You may also request our optometrist to wear one during the eye test. Disposable gloves will be available as required.

If you are seeking information on novel coronavirus, call 1800 020 080.

The line operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
