TIME IS RUNNING OUT!

Did you know unclaimed optical health fund benefits don’t roll over into the next financial year?

Covid-19: An Important Update

It’s true, our optometrist is a germaphobe! :)

Okay, that was a joke but in all honesty, our optometrists and dispensers understand the concerns and fears in our community regarding the coronavirus.

We want to ensure you that our patients' wellbeing and safety is important to us, and we are doing everything we can to keep you safe.

Dear Patient,

At Eyecare Plus, we are focused on providing high quality eyecare and that includes ensuring the health and safety of our patients, and our team members.

Based on advice from the Department of Health, we are now operating for necessary eye tests only. This will ensure that we limit the spread of the virus to our patients and team members.

Please contact us via email or call (02) 9642 7799 if you are experiencing:

Pain or redness

Blurred vision

Double vision

Sudden eye turn

Floating spots and/or

Sudden onset of headaches

Please contact us and a member of the team will help determine if you need an appointment.

If you urgently need a new pair of spectacles, or need to reorder your contact lenses please contact us.

We thank you for your support and understanding during there difficult times. We look forward to welcoming you back to our practice for regular appointments in the future.

Kind Regards,

Eyecare Plus Chullora

Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.

Please advise our staff if you have recently travelled overseas in the last 14 days. Our staff will advise you according to the latest recommendations by health.gov.au

So if you’re due for an eye test or need to replace your spectacles, by all means please drop by. Rest assured, we are being very cautious for everyone’s sake.

You are most welcome to contact our practices if you have any concerns.

You can help prevent the spread of Coronavirus by implementing the below measures:

Cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues and use alcohol based hand sanitiser.

If you feel unwell, avoid contact with others (more than 1.5 metres from people) or stay at home.

We encourage that if you have any symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath) and/or have recently travelled overseas in the last 14 days, to reschedule your appointment with us for another time.

In addition to all the above, our practice will provide facemasks to at-risk patients who require them. Facemasks will soon be available for purchase for patients who would like one during their eye test (max quantities apply). You may also request our optometrist to wear one during the eye test. Disposable gloves will be available as required.

If you are seeking information on novel coronavirus, call 1800 020 080.

The line operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
